How on Earth did we get by without mobile devices before?
Seriously? Today, it seems like mobile devices have become a necessity to much of our everyday lives. They just provide so much mobility and convenience, its hard to comprehend what life was like before we had access to all of our precious gadgets and gizmo's today. I know, mobile devices have changed the way I live my life drastically. For instance, I cannot go anywhere without my cell phone. I know i'm not the only one either. Especially those with more advances phones, such as the iPhone or other smart phones that provide several other features outside of just calling someone. For the avid iPhone user, life would be doomed without their beloved apps. My cell phone allows me to get in touch with anyone at any time, as long as I have signal. I like to travel and take road trips a lot, so if I need to get directions via a GPS program or get in contact with a loved one and let them know where I plan on being, I'm able to do so conveniently while on the go. Along with my cellphone, my iPod is also a life saver. Now when I'm driving, I don't have to bother with shuffling around through countless CD's trying to find the right one. Instead, I can stream through all my albums in one place, at the stroke of my thumb. These are just a few examples of how mobile devices have made my life easier. There are also other forms of mobile devices out there such as: laptops, PDA's, hand held game consoles, and digital cameras, that continue to affect the way we spend our time and live our lives as well. How important have mobile devices become in your life? How have they made your lives easier or affected the way you spend your time?
